Aviation English and ICAO Compliant Consulting
In international aviation, English is not only a means of communication but also a fundamental element of safety.
As Kolay Gelsin Center, we comply with ICAO standards for pilots, cabin crew and air traffic controllers.
We offer fully harmonized English consultancy.
Our goal is not just to pass the test; it is to instill confidence, fluency and accuracy in professional communication.
Why is Aviation English important?
In aviation, English is the universal language of operational communication.
Every communication between the tower and the cockpit is a part of safe flight.
ICAO standards require pilots and controllers to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively in a common language.
Our consulting process focuses on effective communication skills in real operational scenarios, not on grammar memorization.
In ICAO tests conducted over the last three years, the proportion of pilots achieving level 4 was 68% — demonstrating the success of the professional development process.

What is ICAO?
ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) is the organization that sets aviation safety and communication standards worldwide.

What Do ICAO Level 4 and Level 5 English Mean?

ICAO Compliance Requirements (6 Evaluation Criteria)
Six criteria defined in ICAO's Doc 9835 document evaluate language performance holistically:
Pronunciation – Clarity and accent compatibility
Structure – Grammatical accuracy
Vocabulary – Aviation-specific terminology
Fluency – Fluency of speech
Comprehension – Understanding complex messages
Interaction – Responding appropriately in dialogues
Kolay Gelsin Center uses these criteria as a development tool, not as a measurement tool.
